This form is to be completed by public charities seeking monetary assistance from the Trucking Cares Foundation (the “Foundation”).  If you are seeking a scholarship or grant, please click here to learn more.  If you are seeking assistance with rallying volunteers, please contact the Foundation directly at toll free 888-228-6571 or (202) 478-6871 or by e-mail info@truckingcares.org. This application should be completed electronically, printed, and submitted with the applicable documentation at least two months prior to project commencement.   The applying charity (the “Applicant”) must answer all of the applicable questions below.  Answering “No” does not automatically disqualify the Applicant from receiving a donation.  Please review the Foundation’s Charitable Giving Policies and Eligibility Criteria before completing this Application.

The purpose of the Foundation is to improve the safety of the trucking industry and the safety, security, and sustainability of America's highways and communities we serve by supporting and promoting research, education and leadership development, volunteerism, and a broad range of charitable activities towards those ends.  The activities which the Foundation supports must be charitable, educational, or scientific as defined under the appropriate provisions of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code (“Code”) and Treasury Regulations and must advance the charitable purposes of the Foundation.  Only 501(c)(3) public charities are eligible for Foundation support.  Applicants must confirm their 501(c)(3) status as set forth below.
