Washington—The Trucking Cares Foundation, the trucking industry’s charitable arm, donated $40,000 to the Next Generation in Trucking Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to engaging and training the next generation of trucking industry professionals.
New York City—On National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day™, the Trucking Cares Foundation joined Facing Fentanyl and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration for a Times Square takeover to focus attention on the threat posed by the epidemic of illicit, deadly fentanyl. Family members of fentanyl victims shared their stories, and organizers distributed naloxone, the life-saving medication that can reverse an opioid overdose.
